On the second level, you will find the mezzanine, where diners are treated to an awe-striking view of the harbor and sunset over False Creek. There is a section where you can observe the crew working up a storm in the kitchen downstairs. At the end of the mezzanine, you can also find the atmospheric wine cellar, home to over 350 selections of European wine. This area is available for special events and candle-lit dinners.

The restaurant’s outdoor patio is no less atmospheric than the experience inside. It is heated in the winters to continue providing comfort, but summer is when it really comes alive, with lots of people dining out, while they appreciate the view of the Burrard Bridge in the distance.

Food wise, the chef, Rob Clarke, emphasizes on the fact that C Restaurant’s seafood all come straight from the local waters and put together with the freshest local condiments and produce. With that in mind, its seafood dishes are also creatively assembled with inventive sauces and innovative flavors.

The specialty you wouldn’t want to miss is the smoked pink salmon cerviche with cilantro pearls and jellyfish slaw. This international favorite is touched up by the chef’s own creativity at C. however, my personal favorite would have to be duck jerky with a topping of spicy citrus vinaigrette and heirloom carrot shavings. This fusion of flavors is unbeatable.

In celebration of the restaurant’s newly-launched cookbook, C FOOD, a six-course dinner menu is available for tasting the cookbook’s best recipes. The menu with book costs CA$ 128, without book CA$ 98. Highlights include the chilled fennel consomm and Grilled AAA Beef cap. There is also an exclusive 14-course Chef’s grand menu available for individual tasting.

This restaurant has been awarded quite often. Amongst its awards, it has received the Best Seafood Restaurant award from the Vancouver Magazine, and the Dirona Distinguished Restaurants of North America award.

C Restaurant Vancouver is an idyllic venue for holding a wedding event or any other celebrated occasion. The prices of main dishes bid off at 16euros, while appetizers start from 9 euros.
